Server Name

Your server name is a custom label you choose during initial setup. It is displayed in the browser tab title and is used to derive your server’s mDNS address.

You can change your server name at any time under System > General Settings > Server Name. After saving a new name, your mDNS address will update accordingly.

Warning

If you are currently connected via your mDNS address, changing the server name will require you to switch to the new address. You will be prompted with the new address after saving.
